Our Surgical Team is growing! We are welcoming Dr. Daniel Samani, an Orthopedic Physician & Surgeon. He is seeing patients in Council Grove every other Tuesday. Also joining us is Dr. Anthony Kaminisky, a General Surgeon who will be scheduled to see patients every other Wednesday. He will also be available for some emergency surgeries in between.
After 35 years of service, Dr. Frese will be retiring at the end of September. We are hosting a card shower to gather up memories and words of thanks for his serving the community with such great care and compassion. Those cards can be dropped off or mailed to the hospital c/o MCH Foundation. And, mark your calendar to join us for a Retirement Open House on Wednesday, September 28th from 4:30-6:00 PM in the Hospital lobby!
Dr. Sydnee Nelson received a warm-welcome this month at the Hospital's Open House & Diaper Drive. Over 30 packages of diapers and wet wipes were collected for the local Care & Share pantry. Dr. Nelson is finishing up her first full week in the clinic and has openings for new patients of all ages!
We still have a few seats left for Lunch Bunch and we have added the 9:30 am Coffee Crew option that also has a few spots available. This month we will discuss the dangers of too much sugar and how to get off the "Sugar Rollercoaster" You won't want to miss this informative presentation!
