💚 Coming Together as One Community 💚 |
One of the most beautiful pictures of God's love at work in our neighborhood is encompassed in the second part of One Bistro's mission: to provide a place where our neighbors eat and come together as one community. This coming together to support, encourage and share the love of Jesus is what we're all about! Earlier this year, University Baptist Church began regularly sponsoring and serving Wednesday night Community Meals. These acts of service created beautiful opportunities for their volunteers to connect with neighbors in the community. Two of these volunteers, Francisco and Jackson, were recently walking and praying around the bistro when they ran into a young gentleman who joins us for Community Meal and remembered them from the night they served. They were able to have a good gospel conversation and pray with him! The following week Francisco met with him again for coffee and conversation about Jesus. "God is using One Bistro in beautiful ways for His glory and purposes," Francisco says. "Please, pray for [this young gentleman] with us! He is a 'happy young man' seeking Jesus in the midst of some challenges."
Please pray for all of the connections and relationships that are created through the ministry of One Bistro, that they will be positive, uplifting and glorifying to our Father in heaven!

Legacy Christian Academy: Window Painting |
Each December Legacy Christian Academy sends their art students to paint our windows for the holidays. These amazingly talented students and art teachers create such a fun, creative and festive atmosphere, which blesses our neighbors! We will leave these paintings through January, so stop on in to admire their work!
