Thank you to our St Mary’s County Commissioners who voted to approve a Memorandum of Understanding with the YMCA of the Chesapeake. You can watch/listen at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSdB3eG95YU, starting at about the 40-minute mark. It enables the YMCA of the Chesapeake to get started, provides funding for “A&E” (architecture and engineering), and gives the green light to the Y to launch a major capital campaign for private funds, starting right after the first of the year.
