WELCOME TO THE 2025 GYO NEWSLETTER!
Welcome to new members! Due to a computer error, many of you have not been receiving newsletters since the time you first signed up for a workshop. We apologize! The system is in place going forward. If at any time you would not like to receive this newsletter, please just unsubscribe at the bottom of the email.

HELP US PLAN FOR 2025 🙌
We have decided to resend our survey so more folks can give us feedback and ideas. If you have already taken the survey, we’d love it if you don’t take it again! But if this survey is new to you, and you are willing to take it, your answers are really helpful to us in understanding what members enjoy or would like to see improved.

Please take the survey by February 7 to be eligible for a drawing for a $50 gift certificate to High Mowing Organic Seeds and a $25 gift certificate to Riverside Farm.

JANUARY WORKSHOP RECAP: BAGUETTES
🥖
A huge thank you to Martha Machia (pictured holding baguette dough, left) for a wonderful baguette workshop to kick off the year. We had a packed kitchen for the workshop on January 25 (photos below). Nineteen participants of all ages joined us.

GYO MEMBER QUESTION 🤔
Question from member Sussanna Bowman: Where do folks go for garden pest information these days? Do you have a favorite website or book? Or a tolerant human who answers these questions for you? Let us know!

Email bethany@caevt.org

As always, we’d love to share your favorite recipes and garden tips too!

Grow Your Own is a project of the Hardwick Area Food Pantry and the Center for an Agricultural Economy. The mission of Grow Your Own is to increase community food independence and well-being through shared skills, knowledge, and experience.

All workshops are from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. As always with Grow Your Own workshops, there will be time for sharing your own ideas, successes, challenges, and questions. There is a general camaraderie among those of us who love to cook and garden and preserve!

Workshops are always free. Donations are graciously accepted when you register. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Bethany at: bethany@caevt.org
