ReDiscover U Bowling Events
Our April bowling events were a big success, bringing together brain injury survivors and caregivers for fun, connection, and community across the state. We hosted five events across Pennsylvania, creating meaningful and memorable experiences in each location.
ReDiscoover events are part of BIAPA’s ReDiscover U program, offered in partnership with the PA Department of Health

The Brain Injury Association of Pennsylvania was represented at the Inaugural Disability & Special Care Expo, connecting with community members and fellow providers to support and strengthen resources for individuals with disabilities and special care needs.

This Annual Golf Clinic is organized by the Brain Injury Association of Pennsylvania's ReDiscoverU program and partnering with PGA Reach, the Fighting Back Scholarship Program and Penn Oaks Golf Club. The Learn to Swing clinic is designed for golfers and non-golfers of all abilities. It will include instruction on both the driving range and the putting green by PGA Professionals from Penn Oaks and the surrounding area.
BIAPA is once again participating in 2026 Highmark Walk For A Healthy Community events in Pittsburgh and the Lehigh Valley.These annual fundraising events are a cornerstone of Highmark's Bright Blue Futures initiative, dedicated to improving equitable access to care, enhancing quality of life, and fostering economic resilience.
Since Highmark underwrites all event costs, 100% of every dollar raised by participants goes directly to the participating nonprofits. The BIAPA statewide virtual support group will meet Thursday, May 21 at 5 PM. This tight-knit community consists of survivors, caregivers, family members and professionals from across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania! Please use thisZoom Link to access the meeting.
BIAPA has launched it's newest virtual support group for adolescents ages 13–21 living with brain injury across Pennsylvania. Facilitators: Noah Sideman, PsyD, CBIS and Rachel Flood, EdS When: 4th Wednesday of every month. Next Meeting May 27. Join from Zoom Link HERE! Time: 6:00–7:00 PM EST on Zoom This group will offer a supportive space to connect with peers, share experiences, and build skills together.
BIAPA's next Caregiver Support Group will be held on Wednesday, May 13 at 6 PM. This monthly, virtual meeting is open to all caregivers. The meetings are an excellent opportunity for caregivers to meet one another, share experiences and discuss topics of unique relevance to their roles. No pre-registration is required!
