NNOCCI's Month of Climate Hope & Action

Highlights, and more to come!

This fall, NNOCCI has been celebrating Climate Hope & Action Month with a powerful lineup of events designed to inspire, connect, and empower climate communicators.

We kicked off with the Climate Conversations Taster Session (Sept 19th),with our friends from Yes and Nature, where participants explored improv-based communication tools to make climate discussions more natural and engaging. Next came A Dash of Climate Hope: Impactful Climate Actions (Oct 1st), led by Adam Ratner of The Marine Mammal Center, which highlighted the power of optimism and real-world climate solutions. Then, The Power of Community in Climate Education: NNOCCI Then & Now (Oct 9th) reflected on NNOCCI’s first 15-years of impact with insights from Dr. Megan Ennes and NNOCCI President Kait Birghenthal.

And we’re not done yet! 🌟 Join us for two more free webinars this month:

NNOCCI's Got Merch

T-Shirt%20Announcement.png

Thank you to everyone who filled out last month’s survey to help choose our first merch! We heard you loud and clear: our community loves the NNOCCI Earth and “Ask Me About Climate Change” designs (shown above). You also told us you prefer the logos front and center, on shirts in darker shades of blue, teal, and gray - and that sustainability is a must. We couldn’t agree more!

We’re thrilled to share that we’ve reconnected with the incredible artist behind our beloved NNOCCI imagery, Maris Wicks. She’s giving the designs a few updates so they’ll look their best on shirts, helping you proudly show your Network pride.

In the next few weeks, we’ll open our Bonfire shop with both short and long sleeve options. Bonfire prints only what’s ordered to reduce waste, sends the profits post-printing to NNOCCI, and ships directly to you.

*On the signup page, you can also preview the draft design for our NNOCCI Earth shirt and learn more about the sustainability of the shirts themselves.
