Love comes in many forms.
Here at Big Heart Ranch, we celebrate love today and every day.
Luke and Belle (pictured above with Mark from Big Heart Ranch) are two beautiful animals drawn to each other and often find ways to spend time together. They’re completely different species, each with different trauma backgrounds, yet they can be exactly who they are together. They find love and joy - as an alpaca and donkey - on their walks and as therapeutic partners at Big Heart Ranch.
Marilyn and Selma are sisters. They love each other and share so much love and connection with all volunteers and participants at Big Heart Ranch. You'll often find these sisters together in and out of our healing sessions.
Here at Big Heart, we think about having love for everyone – no matter how they show it in return. Einstein, for example, our pot-bellied pig rescue (pictured above) with his own core-wounding story, deserves just as much love as any other animal in the herd. Even though he’s not as open to connection, he finds his own way to offer love at Big Heart Ranch with his sweet presence.
Today, we take a moment slow down to notice love in our lives and its many forms. From all of us here at Big Heart Ranch, we offer love to you.
