November 2023 Member News
As we ramp up to our annual in-person conference in Baltimore, Maryland, we’re excited to share with you CHADD’s incoming president and president-elect for 2024-2026.
Jeremy Didier, LMSW, LMAC, PCAC, current secretary of CHADD’s board of directors, will step up to the role of president, beginning on January 1, 2024. Jeremy is the founder and co-coordinator of ADHDKC, Kansas City’s award-winning CHADD chapter, and she received CHADD’s Volunteer of the Year award in 2013. She is a passionate advocate for adults who are struggling with comorbid ADHD and substance use disorder. You may recognize her from the recent NBC News report. When NBC contacted CHADD looking for someone to speak about the real effects of the ongoing medication shortage, we knew exactly who to recommend!
Board member Suzanne Sophos will join Jeremy in a leadership role as our president-elect. Suzanne is a neuro-inclusivity advocate who has been engaged in family and child work since 2010. She is the chapter coordinator for CHADD of Greater Los Angeles and the former coordinator of CHADD of San Fernando Valley, which was twice recognized as chapter of the year. Suzanne received the CHADD Volunteer of the Year award in 2022.
We look forward to formally introducing Jeremy and Suzanne at #ADHD2023. Their outstanding skills and dedication to the ADHD community will benefit CHADD and help us to continue to serve as the leading resource on ADHD for adults and families in the United States.
