Promoting Positive Change for a Better World

Fall 2026 | Quarterly Report

0-HeaderImage.png

Young people have no say about the circumstances in which they grow up. In our Lasallian tradition — together and by association — we work hard to ensure quality education supports each young person wherever they are, whatever their circumstance, which in turn offers both hope and opportunity for the best and brightest future possible. Thank you for being a part of our efforts, together and by association, at La Salle International Foundation to assist and support young people and the Lasallians who care for them and educate them in every corner of the world.

Enjoy these stories about some of the work you have helped make possible. Your support allows our shared Lasallian mission to touch our students’ hearts and guide them along the path of God’s plan for their prosperity (Jeremiah 29:11). May Jesus live in your heart forever.

Blessings,

Loyola Foundation Grant Funds Reliable Access in Burkina Faso, Lebanon and South Sudan

The Loyola Foundation has granted La Salle International Foundation a grant for over $50,000. This generous gift will help foster education, faith, leadership, and hope in communities where they are needed most: helping young people in Burkina Faso gain greater access to formation and leadership opportunities; and offering students in South Sudan benefit from a safer, more stable learning environment.

The fund will support purchasing a new vehicle for Burkina Faso’s  Vocations Promotion Service to expand its reach to remote communities. This accessibility will allow staff to more fully support formation, leadership and mentorship programs, which have already benefited more than 1,000 young people throughout the country, and strengthen opportunities for youth development, civic engagement and practical skills training.

In Lebanon, funding will support the development and complete equipping of a science laboratory at Saint Vincent de Paul School in Bourj Hammoud. The new laboratory will provide students with a safe, fully equipped space for hands-on learning in physics, chemistry and biology, helping strengthen student engagement and academic performance.

In South Sudan, the fund will provide a new vehicle for La Salle Rumbek Secondary School that serves 290 residential students. Reliable transportation is essential for delivering supplies, supporting school operations, responding to medical emergencies, and maintaining vital connections with local communities and partner organizations. This addition will help ensure the safety of students and staff while strengthening the school's educational, community engagement and peacebuilding mission in a challenging post-conflict environment.

We are extremely grateful for our partnership with Loyola Foundation, who over the last 10 years has helped shape futures through investments in education, faith formation, healthcare and community development. Loyola Foundation has helped strengthen communities and create opportunities for people around the world, including through supporting: school renovations, computer labs, churches, health clinics, solar energy projects, water wells and essential transportation.

Completed Projects

From new learning opportunities to strengthened communities, recently completed projects funded by the FSC Foundation are already making a meaningful difference around the world. Together, these projects demonstrate how practical investments in education, technology, livelihoods, peace-building, and essential infrastructure can create lasting opportunities for the communities we serve.

In Pakistan, a new computer lab is expanding access to technology and digital learning, while new sewing machines are creating immediate opportunities for families to develop skills and generate livelihoods.

In South Sudan, an arts-based initiative helped participants deepen their understanding of reconciliation, healing, and harmony with others, using creativity as a pathway toward connection and peace.

In Kenya, the purchase of new textbooks for Grades 9 and 10 has strengthened the school's readiness to deliver the new curriculum, particularly the newly introduced Grade 10 subjects.

In Nigeria, a new renewable-energy-powered water-pumping system has significantly improved access to water for Mount La Salle College, La Salle Primary School, and the surrounding community, strengthening the academic, residential, and administrative life of the institutions.

In India, investments in digital smart classrooms and technology training are creating more engaging, technology-supported learning environments while helping students and educators build the digital skills needed to confidently use these new tools.
