Better Boards Training Workshop
May 20 - 21, 2022
Do you volunteer or work with a preservation organization in your community? a historical society or museum? Main Street group? or other non-profit? Learn how to build and improve your organization's capacity and activities by attending this upcoming Better Boards Training Workshop in Baton Rouge on May 20-21. LTHP active members receive 10% discount on registration.
The 1.5 day Better Boards Training Workshop will be lead by Esther Hall and will show how historic preservation boards and other non-profit organizations can strengthen their skills and strategies among board members. This event will be held at Red Stick Social's 4th Floor Hall in Baton Rouge.
Registration is $75/person and includes Friday lunch and refreshments. It is recommended that at least 3 members from your organization (staff and/or board members) attend for effective change and impact. Seating is limited so register your team today! Registration closes Sunday May 15th.
Just three "Historic Preservation Toolkit" meetings remain. Please join LTHP and partners to learn more about various tools and programs to help save and restore buildings in Louisiana. Registration is appreciated. All meetings start at 5:30 PM. Join us if you are in close proximity to one of these communities.
