Grace United Methodist Church in Franklin is hosting a packing event on Saturday, February 5, with two shifts to choose from, 8:30 - 11:00am and 11:30 - 2:00pm. The meals packed that day will be designated for helping folks affected by the December tornadoes in Kentucky and the hurricane last year in Haiti.
Registration is available HERE and is open for individuals, teams and groups across the district. Registration will be capped, masks are required at the event and packing stations will be spaced out.
Once registered, participants will receive details on how to fundraise and share the event with friends and family members.

FOOD RESOURCES
Community Compass
Community Compass is a tool created by Indy Hunger Network and has two key ways to connect individuals with food resources near them. The first is an app for smart phones that automatically provides food resources based on where the individual is. The second is the ability to text for food resources if an individual does not have a smart phone. Check out details of Community Compass. This very valuable tool now works in the donut counties as well as Marion County!
