Hi Landlover,
As this is my last newsletter as the Landlovers President, It has been both my privilege and my pleasure to lead this organization and work with so many wonderful people.
From our Board of Directors to our volunteers, you have all been so incredibly generous with your time, your energy, your ideas, and your willingness to get the job done.
It has been a wonderful year, at times challenging, but certainly rewarding. The task of raising money is not always a pleasant one and there's that kind of cringe-factor of asking people for money. However, when you know the money gets turned around to so many incredible students in the form of merit awards and scholarships and grants to nonprofit organizations that support our community, it makes it much easier. I'm so pleased to share the following fundraising totals We couldn't have done it without you!
American Traditions Competition $ 200 50th Anniversary Silent Auction $ 7,200 Flea Market Net Revenue $49,850 Auction Mania Net Revenue $ 8,738 Sponsors/Donations $22,680 Total $88,668
We took some risks this year by making some changes that definitely worked. Sometimes you get stuck doing things the same old way, and while it works, you know there’s a better way to do it. Our incoming president, Terri and the new board have some innovative ideas to streamline the organization and refocus its efforts on fundraising that she will tell you about in her newsletter next month.
And speaking of the new board, we’re pleased to announce our slate of nominees for the 2025-26 Board of Directors. Please join me and welcoming them in their new positions.

My term as president ends on May 31. I will continue to be an active member of Landlovers and hope to see you at many events and fundraisers.
With heartfelt thanks and best regards, Roni |
