Neighbors Helping Neighbors - Community Shout Outs
Thank you to all the individuals and businesses who donated and volunteered to support Sunshine Place programs this past month. We able to provide hope and help to those in need because of your generosity. Below are just a few highlights of your recent kindness:
Thank you to all the volunteers who helped clean and paint our facilities as part of the Chamber's recent Leadership Sun Prairie Give Back Day. We are so grateful to the work of the individuals who spent their Saturday with us, and for the Leadership Sun Prairie group for planning this event.
Thank you to Dannelle Gay, author of 100 Things to Do in Wisconsin Before You Die, who donated proceeds from her book launch event to support the work of the Sun Prairie Food Pantry. She recently stopped by to drop off her generous gift of $1,250 which will help us keep our shelves stocked.
Thank you to the recent groups that provided volunteers and food to serve the community at Sunshine Supper. Host groups included Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Saint Albert the Great Catholic Church, Living Water Church, Heartland Church, Sun Prairie United Methodist Church, Sun Prairie Lions Club, and Prairie Athletic Club.
