Three Brothers Profess First Vows
Three Novices from the Lasallian Region of North America (RELAN) professed their first vows in July 2023. Brother Matthew Chiantella, FSC, and Brother Halen Gamino, FSC, from the District of San Francisco New Orleans (SFNO) made first vows in a Liturgy of First Profession celebrated on July 23 at Mont La Salle in Napa, California. Brother Michael Phipps, FSC, from the Midwest District, professed his first vows in a ceremony on July 26 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Westmont, Illinois.Read more >
Final International Mission Assembly Report Now Available
A final report from the third International Assembly of the Lasallian Educational Mission (AIMEL) is now available. DENA Chapter & Assembly Concludes
The District of Eastern North America (DENA) held its Chapter & Assembly with the theme “So the Next Generation Will Know,” from July 24-27. By focusing on key thematic areas, the District developed a strategic plan that will give direction to District leadership, the Mission Council, and Lasallian ministries to ensure the vitality of the Mission in DENA for the next six years. The Buttimer Institute of Lasallian Studies took place from June 25 - July 8 at Manhattan College in Riverdale, New York. Spanning two weeks, Buttimer participants learned about the founding story as well as De La Salle’s educational and spiritual vision. See photo highlights >
