As we wrap up another exciting summer, we’re celebrating the success of our Drone Camp and Youth Emerging Scientists (YES) Program. It was a full house for our Drone Workshop, and our YES Program focused on food security, where students experienced the journey from seed to harvest in just three weeks. Thanks to the generosity of our families, community partners, sponsors, and supporters, we were able to provide scholarships to more than 60% of our participants, making these hands-on STEM experiences accessible to even more students.

Launch Your Business: From Idea to Income in 6 Weeks
This six-week virtual course is designed for students in grades 9–12 and adults who want to learn how to transform a business idea into a real startup. Participants will explore entrepreneurial design thinking, customer discovery, branding, marketing, budgeting, financial planning, and AI tools while developing a complete business startup plan. Throughout the course, participants will gain valuable skills in innovation, communication, problem-solving, and professional pitching before presenting their final business concept.

- Time: 5:30–7:30 PM
- Location: Live Virtual Sessions
The course is led by Dr. Wayne of Jewels Academy and certified BizInnovator instructors trained through the University of Iowa Jacobson Institute, with guest entrepreneurs sharing real-world experiences.
