Help Spread Kindness to Those Facing Period Poverty

Random Acts of Kindness Week is February 14-20. You can celebrate by spreading kindness to those facing period poverty in our community. Many individuals struggle to afford menstrual products, and we need your help to ensure that everyone has dignified access to the products they need.

Your financial gift will be used to purchase menstrual products at a bulk rate to be distributed to Sun Prairie School District students (in partnership with the schools) and to provide stock for our food pantry's shelves.

Are you able to help in one or more of the following ways?

❤️ Make a financial donation. You can give through our website, via our Facebook fundraiser, or by dropping off a check or cash at Sunshine Place.

❤️ Donate period products. Items can be dropped off at Sunshine Place or shop via our wish list HERE and have items delivered directly to us.

❤️ Share this fundraiser with your network via social media or email and encourage them to give!

Packers Tailgate Tour Fundraiser Tickets on Sale Now

Tickets are on sale for the Green Bay Packers Tailgate Tour event to benefit Sunshine Place on Friday, April 12! Enjoy a Q&A with the Packers, food and drink, live music by Copper Box, a silent and live auction, and more!

The event is scheduled to feature current and alumni Packers players Elgton Jenkins, Kenny Clark, Rasheed Walker, Bryan Bulaga, Mike Daniels and Alex Green. A private VIP reception will also be held for event sponsors to mingle with and take photos with the Packers.

Sun Prairie Tailgate Tour Event apparel is also now on sale, with a portion of each shirt sale benefitting Sunshine Place. Check out the store HERE.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors - Community Shout Outs

The impact of Sunshine Place programs is only possible through the kindness of community members who provide support through donations and volunteer time. Below are just a few recent highlights of this generosity:

We are so grateful for the support of Team Anjani - a student volunteer group that believes in “Enriching community with Love and Kindness.” In addition to hosting collection drives for C.A.R.D.S Closet and the Sun Prairie Food Pantry, they have committed to help organize inventory at C.A.R.D.S Closet every Sunday. Thank you for your kindness and hard work!

	A huge thank you to Gorilla Movers of Wisconsin, Inc. for donating their time to help deliver more than 150 beds to kids in 2023! We are so thankful for your incredible team and continued partnership with The Bed Lady program. Thank you for helping deliver beds and bedding to kids who otherwise wouldn't have their own.

Thank you to the recent groups that provided volunteers and food at Sunshine Supper, helping serve over 400 meals each Monday night! Sponsors included St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Catholic Church, Heartland Church, Sun Prairie Untied Methodist Church, and Cardinal Heating & Air Conditioning.
