Happy New Year! As we step into 2025 with hope and excitement, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support of Welcome to a New Life. Your involvement makes a profound difference in the lives of so many in our community.

We're Seeking Female Mentors!

I am reaching out with an urgent and heartfelt request. At Welcome to a New Life, we are seeing a growing need for female mentors to support women in our community who are determined to change their lives for the better.

These women are courageous—they’re taking steps to break free from the cycles of addiction, crime, and hardship. But they can’t do it alone. As a mentor, you have the opportunity to be a beacon of hope and a steady source of encouragement for someone working hard to overcome their past. Your guidance, accountability, and support could be the key that helps someone stay on their path to success.

Here’s what being a mentor looks like:

  • Meeting weekly with your mentee to provide support and set goals.
  • Offering understanding, love, and hope during their journey.
  • Helping them build the confidence and skills to thrive.

We’ll be with you every step of the way, providing training and resources to ensure you’re prepared for this meaningful role.

If you’ve ever felt the call to make a difference, this is your chance. Your investment of time and care can truly change a life—and in the process, you’ll find your own life enriched in ways you may not expect.

Please consider joining us in this life-changing work. To learn more or get started, reach out at mac@welcometoanewlife.org or visit our website.

Thank you for being a vital part of this mission. Together, we can provide hope, healing, and a brighter future for the women in our community.

From a Mentor:

The process of mentoring further humanizes a group of individuals that a lot of people have no genuine exposure to. . . The moment I realized that my mentee didn’t know how to digest unconditional kindness, my perspective shifted. Something that I’ve built the foundation of my life on was foreign to the human sitting in front of me. At that point, I finally started to recognize my purpose in our relationship: building trust between us so that I could show her what the world can be. My goal became helping her step out of what she previously understood, and welcoming her into a new life.
