Prepared to Grow the Cybersecurity Workforce - Maryland’s community colleges are the State's largest providers of workforce development and career technical education (CTE) and offer both credit and non-credit programs.

Exponential Growth

Our cybersecurity and information technology training programs have grown exponentially to meet the demands of an increasingly digital world. The grant supported CPAM (Cyber Pathways Across Maryland), a statewide cybersecurity training program at 14 of our community colleges, developed at Montgomery College.

Demand for Cyber Professionals is ~3x higher than average in Maryland**

Cyber Pathways Across Maryland (CPAM)

Maryland's community colleges have developed and implemented statewide cybersecurity training programs. One of the largest was Cyber Pathways Across Maryland (CPAM), where 14 community colleges used a TAACCCT* grant of $15 million from the U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL) to accelerate statewide cybersecurity training activities.
