Protect What You Love: Join Pick Up Pennsylvania, the State's Largest Community Improvement Program
Supporting the Ocean Conservancy's International Coastal Cleanup
September 1 - November 30

Want to make a real difference in your community? Join Pick Up Pennsylvania, an easy and rewarding way to help clean up your neighborhood while being part of a global movement. This statewide initiative, part of Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Cleanup, empowers Pennsylvanians to remove litter from streets, parks, and waterways before it reaches our oceans.

Cleanups don’t just make places look better, they protect wildlife, reduce pollution, and build community pride. When you take action, you inspire others to do the same. Whether you're with a group or going solo, every piece of trash you pick up helps keep Pennsylvania beautiful. Register your event to get free cleanup supplies, provided by PA Department of Environmental Protection and The Ocean Conservancy, while they last. Learn more!

Enter For a Chance to Win $500
All Pick Up Pennsylvania participants are eligible to enter
Pennsylvania Resources Council's GENE CAPALDI "LENS ON LITTER PHOTO CONTEST." This year a new BEFORE & AFTER category, sponsored by Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful, has been added to the contest. To qualify for this category, cleanup efforts must also be registered and reported with Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful’s Pick Up PA program. One adult and one student will each receive a $500 prize for their winning photo entries. The deadline to enter "Lens on Litter" is October 31. Learn more about rules and submissions.
