2023 was a busy year here at Perinatal Support Washington. We were able to go BIG, thanks to supporters like you. Read more about our signature programs: the Parent Support Warm Line, Clinical Training Program, and Parent Resilience Program and their 2023 milestones below. Chelsea and Caitlin, the famous duo behind @mamapsychologists (instagram.com/mamapsychologists), were kind enough to grant us an interview about Perinatal Mental Health, barriers to care, organizations filling the gap in resources, and more!

Come join our team of amazing Warm Line volunteers!Everyday volunteers provide a lifeline to parent's who are struggling and feeling alone. Talking to another parent who has been through it reduces the isolation and stigma that many new parents feel. That is why we need you! We are staffed by parents with lived experience of a perinatal mental health issue such as postpartum depression, anxiety or experienced the NICU, a birth trauma or a perinatal loss. Now on the other side, our volunteers support parents who are in the thick of it, walking alongside each caller's journey to healing. Receiving and providing peer support is unique and powerful for both the volunteer and parent! We are looking for volunteers to offer support, find resources, share stories, and to just listen. We provide all the training and guidance needed to volunteer. We are recruiting volunteers for 3 positions:

Come join our virtual support group for dads!Join other self-identifying dads and fathers-to-be in this online support group, hosted by a fellow dad of three young kids. Wherever you are in the parenting journey, from trying to get pregnant, to caring for a newborn, up through parenting a 2-year-old, this group is for you. Share what’s challenging and find community and support from other dads who get it. You can expect a compassionate group of dads, with lots of opportunities to listen and talk in a confidential and understanding space. This group is for you if:
