Hello Landlovers Members and Happy New Year! I Hope that everyone had a wonderful Holiday and that your new year is filled with happiness and joy from all of the many possibilities we have living here in this Community.
Landlovers is "off and running" and ready to jump into our upcoming major fundraising events for this year. Exciting details are in the works and will begin rolling out soon. Meantime, keep the following dates on your calendar.
Flea Market: March 14

Tour of Homes: May 2
These fundraising events are not only a great way to support the organization-they're also a chance to connect, have fun, and celebrate what we can accomplish together. Please help by offering to volunteer for one, or all, of these amazing Fundraising events. ALL of the money raised goes back into our Community, providing merit awards and scholarships.

Join our Rambles Group for a special, members-only behind-the-scenes experience at the City of Savannah Archives Department. Step inside Savannah City Hall, as it celebrates its remarkable 120th anniversary, and uncover the stories and secrets preserved within its historic walls!

Who is doing their January Purge?! We are looking for higher-end items to be offered at Auctionmania. Please keep us in mind as you are organizing or decluttering this season.
Also, we are looking for volunteers (high schoolers welcome) to assist on the day of our event. Training will be provided for this one day only event. A great way to get some volunteer hours in!

Our Flea Market team asks, "If the new year inspires you to clean out “the old'' to make room for “the new” - please set unwanted items aside for the Landings Landlovers March 14 Flea Market to be held at Messiah Lutheran Church from 9 a.m. to 1 pm." This annual event has been a fundraising success because of all the wonderful, gently used items that are donated each year by The Landings Community. Since storage is an issue, we ask you to hang onto your items until this year’s donation Intake Days March 12 &13.

Docents Needed
Landlovers is seeking docents for its Tour of Homes on Saturday, May 2, from
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Docents are critical to the tour. They greet our guests and keep everyone moving smoothly through the houses. There are 3 shifts during the day so you have time to see the other homes on the tour. Shifts are:
10:00 a.m - noon
noon - 2:00 p.m.
2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
If you are able to volunteer please contact our Docent Co-Chair Carri Stoltz
and include your name, email, phone and preferred shifts to work.
