Doug Kolker leads Wipfli’s energy incentives team, focusing on the energy incentives from the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. He has 20 years of experience working within the construction, real estate, nonprofit, higher education, government, tribal and manufacturing, retail and distribution industries.
Steven Barnes is a Partner on the cost segregation and energy incentive team with a background in architecture. He has over 16 years of expertise in the engineering approach of cost segregation for both new construction projects and purchased properties. Steve’s experience also includes Section 263A repair versus capitalization review tangible property studies, Section 168 fixed asset disposal studies, Section 45L energy credits, Section 179D energy deductions, and Investment Tax Credits.
