TWO MARIAN FEAST DAYS

Today is the Solemnity of the
Immaculate Conception

A Holy Day of Opportunity

11:30 AM Mass at the Mission

Within the space of five days in the already potent season of Advent, we celebrate two very powerful Marian feast days: the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception  (Dec. 8), commemorating  that Mary, the New Eve, was conceived within her mother without the stain of Original Sin;  and the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe (Tue., Dec.12) whose appearance in 1531 brought about the conversion of  10 million  indigenous people in Mexico and greater Mesoamerica, the largest conversion experience in the history of the Church.

               You Open the Door and...
She Makes Herself at          Home in You
BLESSING%204.jpg

Fr. John Mary blesses a new statue of the Blessed Mother presented to the Mission by Neil and Nancy Burrell.

Open Your Door to the Blessed Mother

When you entrust yourself to the Blessed Mother, and encourage others to do so, you open a door in your life, and She enters, and makes Herself at home.  She arranges things in you to Her taste, which is none other than the Will of the Father; that all in you may be in harmony with His Plan.

When you entrust yourself to Her, you place your hand in Hers. And she does not let go. Ever.

She takes you with Her wherever She goes ---
to the Heart of the Father,
to the foot of the Cross,
to Bethlehem,
to all Her poor abandoned children.

She forms you, molds you, and guides you to HIM.

So place your hand in Hers and have no fear.
Is She not your Mother, your Queen, your Protectress, your Fortress and Defense?  Does She not conquer with Her Son?
Does the enemy not flee before Her?

Her hand will guide you through everything that you must pass through. Your Mother is always with you.
HAVE NO FEAR. SHE WILL PROTECT YOU.

HOLY SOULS MEMORIALS

Over the years people have asked us for a way to memorialize their loved one out here at the Mission. We asked God to show us an appropriate means and we believe that He inspired us with an approach that would allow people to not just acknowledge their loved ones and support the Mission, but help remind and encourage all visitors to the Mission of our sacred obligation to pray for the Holy Souls in Purgatory.
To learn more about purchasing a memorial brick use the button below.

Confession is heard Saturday mornings by appointment, and on Sunday mornings from 9:00-9:45 on a first-come, first-serve basis.

A NETWORK OF TRUST

"This is what MDM is called to be: a growing communion of trust in His Mercy for our needy world." ~ Fr. John Mary

MDM started encouraging people to pray "Jesus, I trust in You"  ten times a day back in 2011. Recently we felt it was important to remind people to turn to Jesus with this simple, powerful prayer in a world that feels more and more out of control. We are suggesting 20 times, but some people find themselves repeating it hundreds of times. It reminds our troubled souls that GOD IS IN CONTROL.

Many of you have put your name on our growing list and have also left a prayer intention or testimony:

Please dear Lord have my granddaughter return home and reconcile with her mother.~Karolyn

Holy Spirit grant me grace to Surrender to Jesus and abandon myself to the Divine Assistance. Jesus I Trust in You. Bless and protect our little mission providing Sacred Space for our soul.~Jill

Jesus, I trust you with my health. I’m asking and believing in a miracle to heal completely from cancer. You are and always will be a miracle worker and healer. In Jesus Holy name I pray.~Angelica

So glad I found your mission. I woke up at 5 am and couldn’t sleep. Had been reading earlier about the Traditional Latin Mass. Apparently left browser open on The Reverent Catholic Mass website - opened map and there you were. I live in Buda, not too too far away. Will try to come out for Mass soon! I’m very drawn to converting to Catholicism and never been to Mass - raised Baptist (baptized). Have no idea why I’m “scared”, haha. I watch Mass on YouTube (Shrine of Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, MA) so am very familiar with the Marians. I know God is reaching out to me! 😊❤️🙏. Thanks for all you do!~ Martha

Dear Jesus, I pray for your Bride, the One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic Church. I pray for her special sons, the successors to Your first Apostles, that they may serve Her courageously as true Shepherds of the flock. ~ E.
