Mission of Divine Mercy's Initial Public Response to the Archbishop's Decrees of March 15, 2024

We of the Mission of Divine Mercy want to respectfully acknowledge the Archbishop’s public statement of March 15, 2024.

We believe there were significant inaccuracies in the statement, but we will address those in a later announcement.

There has also been concern leading many to ask, “Can the Archbishop seize the Mission’s assets?”  The short answer, according to the civil law, is no.  We want to reassure our friends and supporters of that. A fuller explanation of this matter is found in the appendix immediately following this statement.

We also want to express the following points without any further delay:

PALM SUNDAY

TEPEYAC%20MASS.jpg

This Sunday, March 24 is Palm Sunday.  We will celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass on Tepeyac Hill, at the Teocalli, our outdoor sanctuary.  In the Messages Our Lady referred to this as "My new Tepeyac," and Our Lord called it "this Throne of Mine, this little hill."

This is where we have celebrated our Divine Mercy Sunday Masses since 2018, and where we celebrated Sunday Mass for a year during the time of Covid restrictions.  The conditions are "rustic" and take a little getting used to by everyone involved, including the Celebrant.  But the location allows us to welcome more people.

We have purchased more benches, but you may want to bring a folding chair or blanket, something to kneel on and water. A hat is also suggested. Please dress for the weather and rustic conditions, but also with appropriate reverence for the Mass. They are predicting overcast skies and strong wind gusts for this Sunday.

Golf carts will travel from the parking lot to the hilltop for those who need it. Please reserve the golf carts for those who truly need it. Thank you.

A NETWORK OF TRUST

"This is what MDM is called to be: a growing communion of trust in His Mercy for our needy world." ~ Fr. John Mary

MDM started encouraging people to pray "Jesus, I trust in You"  ten times a day back in 2011. Recently we felt it was important to remind people to turn to Jesus with this simple, powerful prayer in a world that feels more and more out of control. We are suggesting 20 times, but some people find themselves repeating it hundreds of times. It reminds our troubled souls that GOD IS IN CONTROL.

Many of you have put your name on our growing list and have also left a prayer intention or testimony:

Thank you for your bravery in the face of resistance from your own archbishop. I am blessed to find your messages being shared. ~Catherine

God has been helping our family here in Ohio to be prepared for things that are coming. We trust in our Lord and we have faith that he will tell and show us what we need to do. We feel that we are to prepare in different ways for these things that are coming even though we don't know what they are, but we should not be afraid because we trust that He will take care of us. May God be with you all! We will offer up our family rosary in regards for what is happening there.~Melinda

Hello. Praise be to Jesus and Mary. In Belgium, We recently discovered your community and message. For us, it is a great impulse of the heart, a communion of prayers. What a joy it was to see Luisa Piccarreta, Maria Valtorta, Sister Faustina and the Virgin of Guadalupe associated with each other, to be so attached to the teachings of Saint Pope John Paul II and Benedict XVI. We pray for your Community~ David
