The end of the year is a time for celebration, for family traditions, and for reflection; but for families navigating the complexities of infection-associated chronic illnesses, it can be a season of desperation and stress.

At the Brain Inflammation Collaborative, we spent the past twelve months molding hope into action. Thanks to supporters like you, this year has been transformative.

We didn’t just talk about change; we made it.

In 2025, we accomplished a tremendous amount thanks to YOU.

Critical Partnerships to Drive Scientific Advancement: We announced partnerships, in addition to our work with Solve M.E., including Long Covid Families, Solving MS, Long Covid Alliance, 12th Man Technologies, Complex Disorders Alliance, and ChronicleBio, and collaborated with researchers and academic institutions, including Stanford, Columbia University Medical Center, and Vassar.

Groundbreaking Research Innovations: We partnered with institutions to advance patient-centered studies, launched the unhide® platform, merged Solve M.E.’s Solve Together database with unhide®, launched new surveys and studies, expanded to children, teens, and Spanish-speaking participants, and built the unhide® Solve Together Unified Platform with Care Evolution on a secure, scalable foundation.

Studies Ongoing & In-Development:

  • Economic Impact of IVIG Treatment
  • Medications of Special Interest
  • Brain Fog Questionnaire
  • Mood and Behavioral Questionnaire
  • ‘What Helped, and What Didn’t Help’ Questionnaire
  • Building upon the Vassar Microbiome Study

Empowering the Community Through Real-World Data: More than 3,000 participants enrolled in unhide®, contributing 73,896 days of symptom data; and nearly half linked wearable devices and a quarter integrated electronic health records.

Widening Awareness and Advocacy: Our outreach campaigns reached millions through webinars, social media, white papers, publications, and more, delivering science-backed education and advocacy that increased understanding of brain inflammation and related conditions.

Your hope, generosity, and belief in the power of patient-centered research have steered us to this moment, looking ahead to 2026. We’ve accomplished so much, and there is so much more to do.

Research is moving faster than ever, but it requires fuel. If we want to drive results that make a difference for patients and their families rather than pharmaceutical companies or government entities, we must invest in those results.

Countless patients, families, and communities are still waiting for answers, for effective treatments, and for a cure. We cannot afford to slow down now.

Before we close the book on 2025, you have one final opportunity to make a profound difference. Your tax-deductible donation today means we can hit the ground running in January, developing the next chapter of studies and partnerships, working toward the next breakthrough.

Your support today empowers patient-centered, real-world, and longitudinal clinical research fueling breakthroughs in diagnosis, treatment, and care for children and adults affected by infection-associated, complex, chronic conditions and brain inflammation.

The clock is ticking. Make your impact before December 31st!

Together, we can uncover the truth about brain inflammation and build a future where simple diagnosis, accessible treatment, and recovery are the norm, not the exception.

Please, give what you can. Every gift makes a difference at this crucial moment.

With deep gratitude and steadfast solidarity,
