The deadline for New York State's budget is April 1, 2024, and Governor Hochul's proposed Executive Budget includes a significant 60% reduction in arts and culture funding. This drastic funding cut will harm the arts and culture sector and have a devastating impact in our economy. We urge you to join us in advocating for a $200 million investment in the New York State Council on the Arts to fully support the countless arts organizations undertaking vital work across the state.
