Community Room Addition
We have exciting news to share! Heartline and Heart House is adding on to our Community Room, including a storm shelter for severe weather!!
For anyone that has helped with the Operation Backpack & Tree of Hearts programs you know what an asset this will be to our events and to the community. Construction started in mid October!! We will keep you posted on how it is going.
If you have a desire to serve let us know. There will be volunteer opportunities along the way. If you feel moved to donate to this project please send a check to 300 Reagan Drive in Eureka and on the memo line write Community Room Addition.
We continue to be amazed with this community room that provides for the needs of so many!!
Because of the construction that is going to be taking place, the Thanksgiving Day dinner is cancelled for 2024. Roanoke has a community dinner at the park building that is open to everyone! Reservations for the Roanoke dinner can be made by calling or texting 309-645-5439.
Tree of Hearts Program
One of the largest programs that Heartline organizes is our Tree of Hearts Christmas Program. Through the Tree of Hearts program, we are able to provide Christmas gifts for area children, age 0-high school, who might otherwise go without. In 2023, we were able to distribute over 2,400 gifts to over 300 area children. All gifts are donated by the generous residents of Woodford County and surrounding areas.
We also distribute the Salvation Army food boxes. Distribution of food boxes will take place on December 20th. Volunteers are needed for this day.
Tree of Hearts would not be possible without the amazing volunteers who help each year! This annual Christmas outreach requires dedicated volunteers to shop, unload, sort, pack/wrap, and distribute the countless gifts.
If you would like to donate gifts, they may be dropped off at area locations (check our website for drop off locations) or brought to our office by 1:00pm on December 11th.
Gift wrapping will be held the week of December 16th. Call into Heartline to see what time slot are available on these dates.
Gift distribution will be on December 20th.
If you would like to volunteer, please call Cailey at 309-467-6101, ext 2.

Salvation Army Bell Ringing!
Salvation Army bell ringing happens during the holiday season at 2 Woodford County IGAs. We need volunteers to assist us in covering 1 hour time slots throughout the season.
Gather your friends and family and help us ring bells for our community starting November 22nd! Sign up for an hour shift at either of the locations.
This year 100% of donations collected through the Salvation Army Bell Campaign will stay in Woodford County and be disbursed through our Heartline Program which directly assists individuals and families living in the county.
Thank you for all of your help!
Once Again, Operation Backpack was a huge success! Over 250 kids received new backpacks filled with the supplies that their specific school/grade required. We want to say, "THANK YOU!"
*To everyone who donated supplies & monetarily.
*To the volunteers who helped us sort and count everything that was donated. *To the volunteers who helped us pack all the backpacks and distribute them to the families.
THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support our annual Spaghetti Supper! Whether you came for carry outs, dined in, volunteered at the event, or sponsored the event - We appreciate you! The supper was a great success, as we were able to raise almost $7,000!
These funds will go directly support the programs of Heartline and Heart House. We could not have done it without our supportive community and our many sponsors! This year our sponsors were: American Building Company, Blunier Implement, Brookside Landscapes, Mark Voudrie, Eureka Family Dental, Goodfield State Bank, Heartland Bank, Heinold Heating & Air, Lifts of Illinois, Sancken Automotive, & Stoller Law Office.
