Save the Dates!

Registration will open at the end of the month for our annual series of community musters. All four musters are open to members and non-members. Lunch will be provided. These meetings are a way for us to reconnect with our community on a smaller, more regional scale, and allow us to hear from you. We are excited to bring these meetings to new venues this year and hope to see you there.

Gold Rush Event, Summer Camps

📸Call of the Sea

Call of the Sea's schooner Seaward will be in Monterey, CA, for educational sails for a few weeks.  Seaward will also be participating in the Belvedere Classic Regatta on August 22nd. There is a limited number of spots available to join the crew. The race begins and ends near the San Francisco Yacht Club. Tickets include training in line handling before the sail and lunch. Those who join can participate in sailing or relax and enjoy the views and the race. 

Summer camps are coming up for children ages 8-12, including July 27-31, August 3-7, and August 10-14. 

The brigantine Matthew Turner had an overcast 4th of July sail, but passengers were still able to see fireworks. The water was teaming with party-goers and music.

There will be a chance to tour the Matthew Turner at the Historium in San Francisco from 10:00 to 6:00 on August 22nd and 23rd as part of the SF Historium festival at Pier 35. The festival celebrates San Franciscan history and is hosted by the producers of the Great Dickens Christmas Fair, so it should be lively and engaging. Join for music, food, and step into the past.

Cora Ball reduces the amount of fiber breaking off our clothes, helping them last longer, then tangles and catches some of what is released into the water, protecting our lakes, rivers and ocean.
