LENT 2024

Dear Friends of MDM,

The release of the first two public Messages has brought many new people to an awareness of the Mission of Divine Mercy.  Nearly 900 people are new subscribers to our emails, and we are almost overwhelmed with phone calls, prayer requests and new visitors to the Mission. Many thousands have read or heard the Messages online. They tell us that hearing the Messages is giving them Hope.
We believe that God is beginning to form His Army.
We want to make sure that the focus is purely on God's Action.  In a Message  to the Community that was received just hours before the first Message was published, God the Father said:

Do not fear.
Do not be anxious.
I have brought about what will begin to unfold in a few hours.
I have done it. And will bring it to completion.
My beloved ones, now more than ever, abandon yourselves to Me.
ALL IS IN MY HANDS.
....You have done your part and will continue to do it, but now you will see My part, the Part that has remained hidden until now.
You will be hidden no more,  and I will be hidden no more. +

We ask for your prayers as we try to continue to fulfill God's Will. Responding to all the new demands for prayer and information, to no longer "be hidden," is overwhelming for our small number of Community and staff, so please understand if  a response is slow in coming.

Jesus, we trust in You.

"Raise Your Hearts and You Will See Me."

My children, you who suffer at seeing the devastation of My Church, at seeing the world completely dominated by Satan and his cohorts--raise your eyes and your hearts to Me, children.
You have called Me, and I come.
You have been faithful, and now I show you that I AM your FAITHFUL GOD.
Faithful to My Word.
Faithful to My Truth.
Faithful to My Love for you.
I come children, to restore what is Mine.
I come children, to take possession of what Satan, in his infinite pride, wished to take from Me.
I come, children, to reconquer your hearts and the hearts of all My children.
Raise your eyes, children, and wait for Me.
Raise your hearts, My little ones, and trust in Me.
Raise your hearts, and you will see Me.
Do not be afraid.
Your God arises on your behalf.
Remain in Me and do not fear.

THE QUESTION OF OBEDIENCE

Several people have raised the question of whether we are being disobedient to our Archbishop in publishing the Messages. This question deserves a thoughtful, well-developed answer, which we are currently preparing.  We hope to be able to publish it next week.  It will be made available on our website.

RETREAT CANCELLATION

The publication of the Messages has resulted in the cancellation of our retreat schedule for the immediate future.  Some people are upset by this decision, and we are sorry for that.  But our retreats were the good fruit of early Messages that were given to the Community. They were shaped by Him. If God's actions now remove this gift, it can only be because He has something even better to give His children.

Even though we will not be offering our Triduum Retreat, we will still have the same Triduum schedule to which all are invited.

GRACES OF A HOLY HOUR

HOLY%20HOUR.jpg

If you are not doing so already, consider offering to Jesus a Holy Hour of Adoration each week during Lent, if your circumstances permit it. Allow Him to speak to your heart in the silence. Many parishes offer the opportunity of Adoration. At the Mission, we have a public Holy Hour every Thursday from 7-8 PM.

Confession is heard Saturday mornings by appointment, and on Sunday mornings from 9:00-9:45 on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Sign up to receive weekly email notifications for Saturday Confession appointment.

A NETWORK OF TRUST

"This is what MDM is called to be: a growing communion of trust in His Mercy for our needy world." ~ Fr. John Mary

MDM started encouraging people to pray "Jesus, I trust in You"  ten times a day back in 2011. Recently we felt it was important to remind people to turn to Jesus with this simple, powerful prayer in a world that feels more and more out of control. We are suggesting 20 times, but some people find themselves repeating it hundreds of times. It reminds our troubled souls that GOD IS IN CONTROL.

Many of you have put your name on our growing list and have also left a prayer intention or testimony:

I am a cradle Catholic who lived by some principles of the faith but never really lived by the faith. Church was part of my life every Sunday. A special relationship began to flower in my life. One that only God could have put in my path. For he is the farmer who broadcast the seeds. It is up to us through our own conscience to comprehend, and provided  through the grace of God, to return yields of 10-fold, 20-fold, 50-fold for the Lord of Hosts. This helped me discover the need for true growth in Jesus Christ. Not for me alone anymore, but for others. ~Anonymous
