"Give Me the Time of August
...Entrust Your Heart to Me"
Mary's request from our most recent Message -- that we offer Her the month of August -- has generated a lot of enthusiasm and a lot of emails from our readers. Some people wondered how they were to offer the month? While others offered their ideas:
A gentleman in Ireland who provides music at Mass said he was going to make sure that there would be a Marian hymn at each Mass.
A strong prayer warrior encouraged people to offer three Rosaries a day.
Another gentleman replied that they were going to respond to Her request as a family.
A woman suggested meditating on Mary's Fiat,"Behold I am the handmaid of the Lord; let it be to Me according to Your word."(Lk 1:38)
One woman said she would offer an extra hour of Adoration.
And a gentleman said that each day he was going to read a passage from "The Marian Movement of Priests."
All of these are wonderful ideas and suggestions. Mary makes this request of each of us personally. And we will each have a personal way in which we seek to better unite our heart to Hers.
But when we publish the full Message (which we are trying to do as soon as possible) you will see that Mary is asking for this time, not so much for what we can do for Her, BUT FOR WHAT SHE WANTS TO DO FOR US AND IN US:
"I ask that you entrust your hearts to Me.
That I might prepare and purify them.
That I might remove the obstacles still present in them
to the Will of the Father."

Mission of Divine Mercy
Today is a First Friday, always dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Tomorrow is the First Saturday, always offered to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Attending Mass either (or both!) of these days is a great way to begin dedicating the month of August to Our Blessed Mother.

Mary and the Rainbow
A friend of ours sent a video he took of the same rainbow that caught the Community's attention on July 6. The same rainbow about which the Lord said in a Message the next day:
...I gave you the gift and sign of My rainbow last night, as a sign of My Love, of My Presence, of My Power, and of My fidelity to My Covenant with you, to My Promises.
All that I have spoken to you will come to pass, all in its proper time. All in its proper order.
Along with the video, our friend sent an excerpt from a Message to St. Bridget in which Our Blessed Mother describes Herself as a rainbow. We want to share it with you.

Excerpt from a Message from the Blessed Mother to Saint Bridget of Sweden (1304-1374).
"...I am that same woman, and now I stand over the world in continuous prayer, like a rainbow above the clouds that appears to bend toward the earth and to touch it with both ends. I see myself as a rainbow bending down toward both the good and the wicked inhabitants of the earth by means of my prayers. I bend down toward good people in order that they may be steadfast in the commandments of the holy Church, and I bend down toward bad people in order that they may not add to their wickedness and grow worse. I would have the man I mentioned to you know that foul and horrible clouds are rising up in one direction against the shining rainbow. By these clouds I mean those who lead a life of carnal debauchery, those who are as insatiable as the ocean chasm in their greed for money, and those who arrogantly and irrationally spend their means as wastefully as a torrential stream pours out its water. Many of the overseers of the Church are guilty of these three things, and their horrendous sins rise up to Heaven in the sight of God, as opposed to my prayers as foul clouds are opposed to the shining rainbow. The men who should be placating the wrath of God along with me are instead provoking God's wrath against themselves. Such men should not be promoted in the Church of God. I, the Queen of Heaven, will come to the aid of anyone who, knowing his own insufficiency, is willing to take on the task of making the Church's foundation stable and restoring the blessed vineyard that God founded with His Blood, and, together with the angels, I will root up loose roots and throw any trees without fruit into the fire and plant fruitful shoots in their stead. By this vineyard I mean the Church of God in which the two virtues of humility and divine charity must be restored." ( From Book 3, Chapter 10)

Do You Have A Good Vehicle to Donate?
The Community is in need of a couple of good vehicles. We have been very fortunate in that all of our vehicles have been passed down to us from generous friends. But a couple of them have reached the point where they cost too much to maintain.
So if you have a vehicle that has several good years left in it (2015 or newer), and you would be happy to give it to the Mission in exchange for a tax write-off, please call the office at (830) 302-2238. We would be very grateful.
Older vehicles can still be donated to the Mission through the CARS program on our website.

MDM started encouraging people to pray "Jesus, I trust in You" ten times a day back in 2011. Recently we felt it was important to remind people to turn to Jesus with this simple, powerful prayer in a world that feels more and more out of control. We are suggesting 20 times, but some people find themselves repeating it hundreds of times. It reminds our troubled souls that GOD IS IN CONTROL.

Peace and blessings! I am with you. The Blessed Virgin and Saint Joseph will take care of us. The Warning from Heaven is almost here; in the meantime, we must continue, trusting in Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, who watch over us and have kept us in the Truth and the Light. Few of us are located. But this has been a blessing and a special protection from the Blessed Virgin and Saint Joseph. The Blessed Virgin has been gathering her flock here, there, and even further afield. After the Warning, we will have more work with those in the Light who know the truth and realize the lie that has plagued the world and the usurped Church. Blessings to the Community. Last Friday Jesus Eucharist came to my home, I received it because I cannot go to church. I’ve been sick, it was raining very badly and when I had Jesus in my mouth, I told Our Lady are you gonna allow your son to get wet with this horrible Storm? Besides Francisco, who is the guy who brings the communion he’s gonna get wet too, and he needs to go to other houses. By the end of the prayer the rain stopped immediately. It was a huge miracle that I want to share with you, God bless you and thank you for your messages. Jesus I trust in you. ~ Miriam

I need you Father. I need you Jesus. I need you Holy Spirit. Over and over I repeat that in my head throughout the day. After each "Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the living God, have mercy on me, a sinner." I pray "Jesus, I trust in You." After each Hail Mary, while praying the Rosary, I pray "Jesus, I trust in you." There is power in the name of Jesus (Mother told us that in one of the messages.) and therefore I try to say the Lord's name as much as possible. When praying the Divine Mercy chaplet I pray "For the sake of Jesus's sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and the whole world." Additional I add at the end of each "Jesus, I trust in you." As the Lords army, we need to support and strengthen each other. ~John

Our Blessed Mother in Medjugorje called us to be peacemakers. And my heart reflects: how do we want peace in the world if we are not capable of living it first within ourselves, in our homes, in our communities, and in all that we undertake day by day, especially in the adverse circumstances of life? True peace begins in the depths of the soul, where God dwells. Queen of Peace, pray for us.
