"Sometimes I need only to stand wherever I am to be blessed."

~Mary Oliver, from It was Early

Dear Friends,

As we approach the holiday season, we recognize that this time of year can bring both joys and sorrows. For many, it is a season of connection and joy; for others, a time of difficulty, overwhelm, and loss. Wherever you find yourself, please know that you are held in the hearts and intentions of our Guiding Teachers, clergy, and sangha.

Rinsen Roshi and Do'on Roshi express heartfelt gratitude for all that you do to  bring compassion and harmony to a troubled world. May stressful days land gently and may your practice continue to nourish you and your family_/\_

What are you grateful for?

Rinsen Roshi speaks to practicing with gratitude during the holidays. May we radically transform our lives and the lives of others with his teaching_/\_

As Giving Tuesday approaches, we invite you to consider supporting the Temple’s mission. Your generosity helps sustain the teachings, practices, and support in the disciplines, practices and devotions of Mahayana Buddhism that enable us to manifest equanimity, compassion, wisdom and awakening in our lives and in the world. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference.

If you feel moved to give, you can do so here.

If you are interested in learning more about practicing with and or supporting the Buddhist Temple of Toledo, please reach out to me here.

On behalf of our Teachers and clergy, deep bows to you for your generous and noble practice. Blessings to you and your family this holiday season. May our hearts of gratitude bring nourishment, ease and joy to everyone that we encounter, for the sake of all beings_/\_

Blessings and gratitude,
Rev. Jūkai
