Happy Women’s History Month to some of the most caring, engaged women I know—yes, I mean YOU! Most of us probably won’t see our names in a history book or cast in bronze, but that’s never been the point. Time and again, it’s the women working quietly, steadily, and often behind the scenes who make history possible in the first place. The ones who set the stage, uplift others, and keep things moving forward—those are the stories that deserve just as much light. Read more.

Agency Update: Agarita

We are excited to share an interview with Marisa Bushman, Executive Director, violinist, and founding member of Agarita. Agarita engages the local community through artistic collaborations, education, community engagement, and free, adventurous programming. Through the Agarita Inspires! program, its mission is extended to programs that serve youth with limited access to arts and education. Spring Fling on May 7! 

Impact San Antonio is pleased to present our 2025 Annual Report. Last year was a year of momentum as we earned several honors and funded six High Impact Grants. Impact San Antonio member Sharon Flanagan Mungo (1939–2025) passed away peacefully at home. A lifelong educator and devoted mother of seven, Sharon’s life was defined by compassion and service. Alongside her husband, she built a beautifully diverse family through adoption and foster care. Her generous spirit left a lasting mark on our community, and her legacy lives on through her beloved children and grandchildren.
