2026 Gold Dome Recap

Newsmaker Leadership Series

Mayor Andre Dickens participated in a moderated conversation led by Mike Jordan, APC Chair at our second Newsmaker Leadership Series event of the year at The Commerce Club! Mayor Dickens shared insights on affordable housing, transit, youth programming, education and the World Cup!

APC ss excited to welcome our largest class of summer journalism interns ever! Thanks to generous support from Georgia Power and Norfolk Southern we are able to provide 12 students with valuable work experience at 10 of Atlanta's top media outlets. Loudermilk-Young Debate Series

The Atlanta Press Club Loudermilk-Young Debate Series hosted its most robust schedule of primary and primary runoff debates this spring. In partnership with GPB, the Atlanta Press Club produced 36 debates over three days of primary debates and two days of primary runoff debates.

The APC Debate Series will return this fall for the 2026 general election debates.

Newsmaker Leadership Series

APC hosted Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock in our third Newsmaker Leadership Event of the year. Senator Warnock participated in a fireside chat with moderator Zach Merchant of 11Alive.

Senator Warnock discussed national and state issues including voting rights, redistricting and gerrymandering in Georgia, affordability, education, and bipartisan cooperation in Washington.
