Good fun at the Ramsay STEM Night. EcoAmbassadors with wonderful support from Janice and Maddie had a combination of energy conservation and compost & recycle information on hand for over 300 families.

Our EcoAmbassadors were out in Green Valley in May helping residents learn how composting reduces waste and supports healthier communities.

The EcoAmbassadors helped out at the  Ballston Welburn Square pitstop from 7:30 to 9:30AM for Bike to Work Day on May 15. They encouraged participants, provided resources, and chatted about how to take small steps toward a more sustainable commute.

Support Sustainable Transportation

EcoAction Arlington and the Coalition for Smarter Growth (CSG) co‑hosted a dynamic regional webinar exploring the future of sustainable transit in Northern Virginia. The webinar brought to the table representatives from major transit agencies, local government, and advocacy organizations – a powerful coalition committed to building a more connected, equitable, and climate‑friendly transportation network. We are grateful to our co‑sponsors: Arlington Transit, Sierra Club Potomac River Group, Faith Alliance for Climate Solutions, and Sustainable Mobility for Arlington.
Join CSG’s campaign to ensure transit funding by contacting your Virginia legislators to support transit funding in the state budget.
