We are in the final weeks of working on the Resolutions for the Wisconsin Democratic Party 

Revisions are being worked on, but you can view the initial draft resolutions: Click Here

All final draft resolutions will be presented in the Enews and at Coffee Klatch on March 26th.  

Voting for resolutions will be in person ONLY at the Democratic Resource Center and begins March 26th and ends April 2nd.   

If there is hardship in getting to DRC physically, contact Linda Norton, 920-350-5201 or lnorton08@gmail.com by April 2nd.

The final date to submit resolutions is March 22nd to Linda Norton, lnorton08@gmail.com. 

  • Each resolution must be 100 words or less. 
  • Please put "Resolutions" in the email subject line. 
  • Submitted resolutions are discussed for editing at Coffee Klatch. 
  • Final voting on the top 10 resolutions will be sent on to the DPW, occurring at the April 19th 3rd CD Convention.

In-Person Absentee Voting begins Tuesday, March 24, 2026, and ends on Friday, April 3, 2026. For the City of Eau Claire, early voting will be held in the Elections Office, across the alley from City Hall, 203 S. Farwell Street. It will  be available weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 pm. The Eau Claire County Democrats are working hard to elect progressives to local seats and to the Wisconsin Supreme Court. We need your help to make phone calls to voters and volunteers, and to knock on friendly doors to get folks out to vote. We will be canvassing and phone banking every week until the April 7 election. DONATIONS FOR NEIGHBORS SHELTERING AT HOME

Eau Claire County Dems are helping to collect food, hygiene items, and monetary donations for Chippewa Valley Neighbors who do not feel safe to leave their homes. Drop off your donations at Shift or at the Democratic Resource Center.  One of our members is coordinating with community aide groups and will use any cash donations to purchase and transport needed supplies. Or make credit card donations using the QR code on the poster. Especially needed are personal hygiene and home items including diapers, baby wipes, soap, body wash, dish soap, disinfectant wipes, toilet paper, paper towels, kids’ toys and crayons.

Delegates to the 3rd CD Convention may move to make changes, additions, or deletions to the 2026 DPW Platform.  You can review the draft DPW 2026 Platform Draft.  Any proposed change must be voted on by the Delegates.  Any change approved by the 3rd CD will be sent to the DPW State Convention for a final vote.2026%203rd%20CD%20Convention.png
