The weekend snowstorm prevented Judge Chris Taylor from coming to Eau Claire to have coffee with us Monday. But Monday night, Judge Taylor was able to have a lively 45 minute virtual conversation with the members of the Rural Caucus and others.

In-Person Absentee Voting begins Tuesday, March 24, 2026, and ends on Friday, April 3, 2026. For the City of Eau Claire, early voting will be held in the Elections Office, across the alley from City Hall, 203 S. Farwell Street. It will be available weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 pm. The Democratic Party of Eau Claire County thanks all those who wish to serve our community by running for local office. We have prepared a list of candidates we hope you consider voting for. Candidates listed on this guide are members of the Eau Claire County Democratic Party, and/or have indicated or demonstrated that they align with the principles and values of the Eau Claire County Democrats.
On March 24th, WisDems is offering virtual Wisconsin Voter Protection 101 Training. We'll cover election law basics, voter registration, and available resources, as well as how you can get involved protecting democracy in your community!

The Eau Claire County Democrats are working hard to elect progressives to local seats and to the Wisconsin Supreme Court. HOUSING NEEDED FOR CAMPAIGN STAFF–Got a spare room? Campaign staff are coming soon to the Chippewa Valley to help us retain and gain seats in the Wisconsin Assembly and Senate. Do you have an extra bedroom that campaign staff could use until after the November election? Or for a month or two at a time? U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has continued to conduct raids in Western Wisconsin
Eau Claire County Dems are helping to collect food, hygiene items, and monetary donations for Chippewa Valley Neighbors who do not feel safe to leave their homes. Drop off your donations at Shift or at the Democratic Resource Center. One of our members is coordinating with community aide groups and will use any cash donations to purchase and transport needed supplies. Or make credit card donations using the QR code on the poster. Especially needed are personal hygiene and home items including diapers, baby wipes, soap, body wash, dish soap, disinfectant wipes, toilet paper, paper towels, kids’ toys and crayons.
Delegates to the 3rd CD Convention may move to make changes, additions, or deletions to the 2026 DPW Platform. You can review the draft DPW 2026 Platform Draft. Any proposed change must be voted on by the Delegates. Any change approved by the 3rd CD will be sent to the DPW State Convention for a final vote.
