Lanes marked “BUS ONLY” are for bicycles too! Hotel Street has been a long-established corridor for buses and bikes (marked with proper signage) but did you know that bikes are allowed in the other new “BUS ONLY” lanes (highlighted with red paint on Kūhiō Avenue and King Street)? Installation of bike signage will happen in phases.
Last month, HBL Staff went to Washington D.C. to participate in the National Bike Summit and presented at the Active Transportation Leadership Summit. In 2025, HBL is more committed than ever to being part of a national cycling advocacy movement.

Bike Words Beach & Sports Big Island Gran Fondo

The Hawaii State Championship Criterium at the Kenai Industrial Park (KIP) will feature Oahu's fastest crit on a fast smooth 1km (.6 mile) circuit.
