PCCE received a 2.5 million grant from AmeriCorps for 3 years of VISTA funding. We were one of five organizations nationally who received this funding.

PCCE named a 9/11 Day of Service Champion by AmeriCorps.

VISTA fall retreat held in partnership with the Lake Effect Leaders VISTA program at Mount Asbury in PA from September 11th - 13th.

PCCE named an MLK Day of Service Champion by AmeriCorps.

PCCE continues to be a certified organization to bestow the President’s Volunteer Service Award, the most prestigious civic award to recognize our AmeriCorps VISTA members for their hours of service and dedication to civic duty.

VISTA spring retreat was held at Gannon University on May 30th, prior to the start of PCCE’s Beyond the Classroom: Deepening Campus Community Partnerships conference. The VISTA members then stayed and participated in the one day conference on May 31st.

PCCE welcomed the 24-25 VISTA cohort, which consists of 18 members, 6 who are returning for a second year of service!

VISTA Welcome Week was held at Gettysburg College from June 24th - 26th.
