π Fall is officially here, and with it comes crisp air and beautiful park days for our pups! πΎ As you enjoy the changing seasons with your furry friends, we want to remind you that our DogPaw off-leash parks are completely community-funded. π We receive zero taxpayer dollars, so everything from waste bags to fencing and maintenance is paid for by people like you.
Our annual budget is between $60,000 and $75,000! Many people assume our parks are city or county funded, but that's not the case. We rely entirely on your support to keep these amazing spaces safe, clean, and open. Please help us spread the word!

We're so grateful for your past support, which has helped us continue our mission. Here are some of our recent fundraising highlights:
July Bingo Nights: A huge thank you to Latte Da and their amazing staff for making our Bingo nights such a fun and huge success! Thanks to their incredible support, our community came together to raise $3,200! We had several Thursday nights with over 40 people—plus their well-behaved dogs—playing Bingo. Special thanks to Sally Bond for donating all the dog toys for Bingo winners. If you missed out, be sure to join us in 2026! πΎ
GiveBig 24: A Huge Success!
Our annual county-wide fundraiser for non-profits, GiveBig 24, wrapped up on September 25th, and we are thrilled with the results! This year, we raised $3,627 from our community, with over 50 new donors to contributing to the cause. We kicked off the campaign with a generous $300 donation from Robby and ended with a fantastic $500 donation from anonymous donors.
On top of that, we were graced once again by the L.R. Mitchner Philanthropic Fund, who generously matched every dollar donated, up to $2,000. This brought our grand total to an incredible $5,627!
This amount covers more than half of our annual cost for those beloved black poop bags. We are so grateful for your support. Our pups give you all a big lick! πΎ
Together, we can ensure everyone knows how to keep our parks thriving! Thank you for being a part of our pawsome community. πΎβ€οΈ

πΎ Eagle Scout Projects
A huge THANK YOU to Zachary Ripplinger, Eagle Scout, Troop 370 and his incredible team for their hard work at Ike Memorial Park! They completely redid the aging roof on the lower bulletin boards, making a huge difference for our community. The new roof looks fantastic and will help protect all the important information we share.
πΎ Clark County Parks, BARK RANCH & dog lover Jeff Sohy
Huge thanks to our community partners for helping us improve Lucky Dog Park!
Clark County Parks generously provided four piles of fresh bark dust to help us manage rain puddles.
BARK RANCH donated two yards of gravel to improve wheelchair accessibility at the entrance gates.
And finally, a big shout-out to dedicated dog lover Jeff Sohy for delivering the gravel right to the park!
NEW SIGNS
You might notice something new on all our entrance gates—shiny new metal signs! They basically say, "Hey, you're responsible for your pup and for following the park rules."
Top Park Rules That Are Broken Most Often
To keep our parks safe and enjoyable for everyone, here are the most common rule violations we see and why they're so important:
Un-neutered dogs over one year old: These dogs can cause hormonal aggression in other dogs. For the safety of all park users, please ensure your dog is neutered before visiting.
Giving treats to unfamiliar dogs: Many dogs have severe allergies or sensitive stomachs. Please do not give treats to other people's dogs to avoid making them sick.
Children running loose: Children running freely can trigger a dog's chase instinct, leading to potential accidents. Please keep kids close to you at all times in the parks.
