A Recent Testimonial
I would like to start by saying I am forever grateful for Welcome to a New Life. I spent a year in the county jail fighting my case. A lot of time my family couldn’t make it to court. I had court once a month for eleven months straight. WNL was there to support me. They were there more than my family. They never missed a court hearing one time. They would visit me and try to keep my spirits high. After I got to prison, every Monday they would send me a motivational Monday inspirational quote. That meant the world to me. Prison is such a dark place and that helped me so much. I came home and they were the best people on my team. I am finally living the healthy sober life I have always wanted to. They have helped with clothes, hygiene, and cab rides. All the obstacles in my way home to nothing were there to help. I couldn’t’ have accomplished this without them. Words can’t express how thankful I am for my Welcome to a New Life family! - WNL Mentee
Please join us in celebrating two of our friends that recently received their Human Services training certificates through the Financial Opportunity Center of Habitat for Humanity Findlay! Here's what the FOC said about the training:
"Throughout the program, participants showed commitment, curiosity, and heart while learning with the dedicated FOC team and our special guests. From meaningful conversations about Trauma and Wellness to hands on Self Defense and Mental Health First Aid, where participants earned their certification, this group embraced every opportunity to grow."
