First, Bridge of Life was honored to accept the prestigious Henry Schein Healthcare Heroes Award in NYC on Wednesday night—a wonderful testament to the relentless dedication of our global community.

Field Impact: Guatemala Vascular Access Mission 

Following our week-long site visit for our multi-year vascular access project in Guatemala, our team delivered life-changing results:

• 85 Patients Evaluated
• 80 Life-Changing AV Fistulas Placed & Repaired

For these 80 pediatric and adult patients, transitioning from high-risk central venous catheters to permanent arteriovenous (AV) fistulas is transformative. It means fewer life-threatening bloodstream infections, dramatically reduced hospitalizations, and a safer, more dignified path forward on dialysis.

Looking ahead to our domestic outreach, this week we kick off the Community Health Experience screenings in Houston, followed by L.A., in partnership with DaVita!

Global Community in Motion: 1,000,000+ Kilometers! 

Our international community continues to show up in a massive way. Between Move It With Purpose and the International Walkabout, our passionate global supporters have now collectively logged over 1,000,000 kilometers in support of Bridge of Life's mission worldwide!
