Greetings from the Eden Prairie Community Foundation!
It is an exciting time of year for us as we are compiling our annual report and we are getting ready for our biggest fundraiser of the year, the EP Gives Gala.
Did you know our 46th Annual EP Gives Gala is only 4 weeks away? Time sure does fly quickly! Our planning committee is hard at work coordinating each detail and it is sure to be a wonderful event.
For more than 45 years, EPCF has worked tirelessly to provide critical funding to make the city a welcoming and accessible community for all. The foundation has awarded more than $2 million in contributions for community support such as:
Meals and produce for residents, including homebound seniors and individuals with disabilities.
Food support for Eden Prairie families and school children.
Scholarships for local youth.
Emergency support and household goods for families living in poverty.
Support for seniors and their caregivers.
Services for homeless families, youth, and victims of domestic violence.
Funding for Eden Prairie services, arts, parks, and recreational facilities.
If you haven’t already purchased your tickets, now is the time!
The proceeds from ticket sales stay right here in Eden Prairie and help us fund the important causes that make Eden Prairie a better place to live in the form of grants and scholarships. Each of our grant recipients contribute their talents and efforts toward making a difference in our community and helping those in need.
Join us on Thursday, April 30th, 2026 at 5:30pm-9:00pm at the Marriott Minneapolis Southwest for a wonderful night of celebration!
Coming up in just a few weeks is Volunteer Appreciation Week. April 19th-25th marks a time to appreciate those who make our organization so special and help us do what we do.
Volunteerism is vital to the success of the Eden Prairie Community Foundation. Our volunteers bring expertise and energy in support of our efforts and mission. With the help of our volunteers, we are able to accomplish goals we would not be able to achieve on our own. By utilizing the talents and passions of those in our community, our reach grows and our impact deepens all while remaining closely connected with the community we serve.
Do you care about making an impact in your community? If so, we have several volunteer opportunities that may be right for you!
Board Members
Committee Members (Community Engagement, Diversity, Events, Finance, Grants, Hub)
We want to give a huge thank you to all of our current volunteers! We are so grateful for all of the time and energy you have dedicated to our organization. We could not do what we do without you!
PROP Food Shelf
For more than 55 years, PROP Food Shelf (People Reaching Out to People) has supported neighbors in Eden Prairie, Chanhassen, and surrounding communities who are experiencing food insecurity and financial hardship. Through its client-choice Food Mart, PROP provides families with access to nutritious groceries while preserving dignity and choice.
In addition to food assistance, PROP offers emergency financial services, mental health counseling, employment counseling, health and wellness coaching, and more that help families remain stable during times of crisis. Each year, PROP distributes over 900,000 pounds of food while working alongside volunteers, businesses, faith communities, and donors to ensure neighbors have access to the resources they need to thrive.
PROP's Director of Development & Communications, Prima Sisinni, had this to share regarding the continued partnership between PROP and the EPCF.
"The Eden Prairie Community Foundation (EPCF) has been a longstanding and valued partner of PROP, consistently investing in the well-being of our community. Through their generous, ongoing support, EPCF has helped fund a wide range of programs and initiatives that strengthen food access, provide critical resources, and uplift our neighbors in times of need. Their commitment to local impact has played an essential role in advancing PROP’s mission and ensuring we can continue to meet growing demand with compassion, dignity, and innovation."
You can catch Prima at this quarters Nonprofit Lunch & Learn on April 15th, 2026!
