This inaugural award honours the legacy of Dr. Valerius Geist — a scientist, hunter, and mentor who believed conservation is lived through time on the land, personal responsibility, and a deep respect for wildlife.

We are seeking individuals who carry that same spirit forward today. Those who lead through action, mentor others, and demonstrate a genuine commitment to wildlife and habitat conservation - not for recognition, but because it’s who they are.

If someone comes to mind - someone quietly doing the work and making a difference - we encourage you to nominate them.
