The State Democratic Party is Going to Raise Money Off Derrick Van Orden’s Tweeting Habit — And Use it to Defeat Him Next November
The Wisconsin Democratic Party has launched a new fundraising page, encouraging supporters to chip in $1 every time WI-03 Congressman Derrick Van Orden tweets. Van Orden has created a reputation for himself by firing off excessive amounts of tweets daily. On just one day in July, he tweeted a total of 61 times — all while refusing to hold an in-person town hall. You can check out the donation page here.
