Supporting the Educators Who Support Our Students

Every day, teachers across Lake Oswego School District make a difference in the lives of students. They provide individualized instruction, build meaningful relationships, inspire curiosity, and help every child reach their full potential.

The Lake Oswego Schools Foundation exists to support these educators by funding teaching positions at every school in our district. From specialists and music teachers in our elementary schools to arts, science, and technology electives in our middle and high schools, Foundation-funded positions help ensure students receive the exceptional educational experience our community values.

As the school year comes to a close, we are already looking ahead to 2026–27. Gifts made by June 30 help fund teaching positions for next year, providing critical support for students and educators across all 11 schools.

We are incredibly grateful to our donors, volunteers, business partners, and community members who make this work possible. Together, we are investing in the educators who support our students every day.

Thank you for helping us strengthen our schools, one teacher at a time.

Congratulations to Our Incredible Graduates! Congratulations to our incredible Kindergarten, 5th, 8th, and 12th grade graduates and their families! Whether you are moving to a new school, a new adventure, or a brand-new chapter, we are so proud of all you have accomplished together. Wishing all Lake Oswego School District students and families a joyful summer and continued success in the years ahead!

The Lake Oswego Schools Foundation

We fund teaching positions at every school in the district. In fact, LOSF is the only fundraising organization in the district that can directly fund teachers.

Your donation helps provide the educators who make smaller class sizes, individualized support, and enriched learning opportunities possible for students across our district.

There is still time to make an impact on staffing for next year. All gifts received by June 30, 2026 will help fund teaching positions for the 2026–27 school year

Thank you so much for supporting our students, teachers, and schools!

Do you have an open pledge?    Thank you to all of our incredible families who made a pledge to the 2025–26 campaign. We are truly grateful for your support and commitment to our students. Sara Hasan and Dan Geiman are deeply invested in both their family and their community. Sara, a Portfolio Manager at Bridge City Capital, brings a strong financial background and a passion for thoughtful investing.

As proud parents of three students in the Lake Oswego School District, a fourth grader at Oak Creek Elementary and a sixth and eighth grader at Lake Oswego Middle School, Sara and Dan experience firsthand the value of our community’s commitment to a strong and caring public school system. Their connection to the district is personal and heartfelt, driven by a belief that every  student deserves the chance to learn, grow, and tackle the challenges of the world around them.

That belief led them to start supporting the Foundation in 2021. In 2022, Sara deepened that commitment by joining the Foundation’s Board of Directors, where she contributes her financial expertise and dedication to community service. By investing in the Foundation, they are helping ensure that all students—across every school—benefit from the exceptional opportunities that make the Lake Oswego School District so special.

Their philanthropy reflects a shared belief: strong schools build strong futures for our communities, and supporting education today creates a brighter future for everyone.
