Welcome to a New Life in the Community
As autumn settles in, we’re excited to share some of the ways our organization has been active in the community recently. Thanks to the steadfast support of our volunteers, donors, and community partners, we’ve been able to further the mission of WNL and create amazing opportunities for our mentees!
Thanks to everyone who made our CHOPIN Hall Mobile Food Distribution collaboration with Findlay Digital Academy possible! It was such a fun day and we were able to serve over 200 local families!
We were happy to share information about WNL and the Hancock County Reentry Coalition at the No Wrong Door event on the Fresh Start Panel.
Recently, WNL Executive Director Carla Benjamin participated in a digital fundraising class from Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy sponsored by The Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation! Thank you, TCF, for providing these wonderful learning opportunities to our nonprofit community!
Thank you to the Findlay YMCA for inviting us to be a part of this year's Family Fall Fest!
Last week we held our Board Retreat at The Findlay Office, which provided a fantastic environment for brainstorming and breakout sessions. The space allowed our board members to collaborate closely, fostering fresh ideas and productive discussions. Together, we were able to dig deep into our strategic plan, set meaningful goals, and outline actionable steps to drive our mission forward in the coming year.
