2025 Collaborative Conference
Meeting the Moment - Rooted Together

Thursday, 9/25, 10 AM-6 PM    Friday, 9/26, 8 AM-2 PM    State College, PA

It's Friday afternoon and 2025 Collaborative Conference Partners are sliding into your inbox to invite YOU to be the first to sign up for this year's event! While we continue to finalize the last few items on the agenda, we wanted to offer PANO Members an early opportunity to register, as a small token of our appreciation for all that you do with, in, and for your communities.

ICYMI (in case you missed it), on Thursday, September 25, and Friday, September 26, we'll be back at the good ol' Penn Stater Hotel & Conference Center for only the second time since 2019 - and we'd love to see you there!

This year's theme, Meeting the Moment – Rooted Together, is both a rallying cry and a grounding principle. It calls us to build deep roots in shared purpose and collective action — so we can carry each other forward and grow what’s next.

The 2025 conference is designed to:

  • Energize a statewide movement built on nonprofit solidarity and strategic advocacy; and
  • Create space for joy, awe, and real talk — because movement-building also requires rest, relationships, and connection.

Underneath it all is the truth that our resilience runs deeper than any one organization. The roots we tend together are what sustain us through change.

Because this year’s conference is taking place in a moment that is both complex and filled with possibility, sessions are designed to meet this moment not just in their content, but in how they’re delivered. Each session will be supported by a synthesizer. Formats include:

  • Workshops – designed not just to inform, but to help attendees connect to each other and leave with practical tools you can apply to your work immediately.
  • Facilitated Peer Discussions – designed to provide some context around the topic chosen, with questions and prompts to generate stories and ideas from those on the ground doing the work.
  • Taproot Talks – designed to engage, inspire, and inform in 10 minutes or less, offering powerful, personal reflections or big ideas that ground us in what matters and express a big vision.

Learn more here and we'll see you there!

Cost to Attend:

With the generous support of our many sponsors, we continue to be able to offer much lower pricing than would’ve been possible for an in-person event like this in the past. We're excited to offer members of PANO and Conference Partner GPNP (the Greater Pittsburgh Nonprofit Partnership), 43% off regular rates!

Even still, we recognize that many factors continues to impact individuals, organizations, and our budgets differently, and we don’t want fees to be a barrier to attendance. Contact us for information about scholarships, made possible by our fabulous Scholarship Sponsors.
