Introducing the Annual Teachers Fund
A small change in words can make our purpose a whole lot clearer.
For years, we called our primary fundraising campaign the Annual Fund . This year, it has a new name: the Annual Teachers Fund .
Why? Because that’s exactly what your donations support: teachers.
The idea came from Foundation Board Member Angela Moneyhan and her husband, Rob , and we loved its simplicity.
The name is new. Our mission is not: more teachers and more opportunities for Lake Oswego students.
Volunteer: The Teachers Fund Phone-athon
Join us October 13–15 for our biggest volunteer effort of the year!
More than 50 volunteers will make 2,000+ calls to support teaching positions across Lake Oswego schools.
Our goal: Raise $800,000 by the end of the Phone-athon campaign.
The more volunteers we have, the more families we can reach!
Volunteer: New Family Welcome Notes
Help us welcome new families and thank our generous donors! Drop in anytime between 10 a.m. and noon .
Sept. 1: New Family Welcome
Nov. 12: Thank You Notes
Come for the whole session or just stop by for a bit!
Check out photos from our event on Aug 20.
Foundation: 40 Year Celebration!
We’re turning 40—and honestly, we think we’re aging pretty well!
Since 1986, thousands of generous supporters, incredible teachers, curious students, and one amazing community have helped shape the Foundation.
Throughout the year, we’ll celebrate the people, moments, and milestones that brought us here—and we’d love for you to celebrate with us!
