The John Savelloni Memorial Golf Clinic Was a Swinging Success!
On August 29th, the Brain Injury Association of Pennsylvania, the Fighting Back Scholarship Program and PGA Reach held their annual All Abilities Golf Clinic at Penn Oaks Golf Club. Oliver Heating and Cooling has sponsored this event for many years, and continued this year. 50 participants and volunteers came out to learn about the game and have a good time. This year we also were thrilled to have the G.A.P Adaptive join us to feature the SoloRider and other equipment that helps make the game accessible to all.
Thanks to our other sponsors – ReMed, NJM Insurance, Penn Oaks Golf Club and Geis Realty Group, who have supported this event for years; to our Golf Professionals: Jesse Hallett, Doug Hendricks and Joel who provided excellent instruction to all of our participants; and to Joanne Finegan for her leadership and coordination!

A full list of all of Pennsylvania's Brain Injury Support Groups, along with contact information for each, is on the BIAPA website's Support Group Listing Page. We are currently updating this information, and while we have done so for most groups, there are still some that we're trying to reach. If you're aware of groups that are meeting either virtually or in-person and are not on our listing, or if you have any updated details about a group on the list, please contact Melanie Morrison morrison@biapa.org so that we can let others know about them.
