For the past nine years, we’ve worked alongside St. Mary’s County Public Schools and the USDA to provide free lunches to children throughout the summer. Last year we served nearly 800 meals at Lexington Park Library, with some days reaching over 50 kids. The school system is unable to support the program this summer. Donations of non-perishable snacks at all Library locations. We welcome your monetary donations, for snacks, and meals are also welcome if you do not have time to shop.
Summer Snacks: Healthy, hearty, individually packaged snacks that kids enjoy are preferred. If you are interested in donating perishable snacks (fruit, string cheese, etc.) please contact us at info@stmalib.orgto coordinate donations.
