Dear Angie,
Strong institutions, like strong trees, are defined not only by how they grow, but by the strength of the roots that sustain them through seasons of change.
We are proud and excited to announce Robin Gallite as RedLine’s new Executive Director.
For the past 14 years, Robin has served RedLine as Education Director, Deputy Director, and most recently Interim Executive Director. Her deep knowledge of our programs, commitment to our mission, and longstanding relationships with artists, partners, and community members make her uniquely suited to lead RedLine into its next chapter.
Robin’s leadership provides both continuity and a clear vision for the future. As Executive Director, she will continue to champion artists at every stage of their careers, expand access to arts education and well-being initiatives, and strengthen meaningful community connections through socially engaged art and cultural programming.
-RedLine Board of Directors |
In this next chapter, I am deeply honored to continue serving RedLine as Executive Director.
Over the past year, it has been an incredible privilege to serve as Interim Executive Director, working alongside our dedicated Board of Directors and extraordinary staff through one of the most transformative periods in our organization's history. Together, we have navigated challenges with resilience, embraced change with clarity and purpose, and remained grounded in the values that define RedLine. I am especially grateful for the trust, care, and commitment of our community, which have guided us every step of the way. As we move forward, I remain committed to leading with integrity, compassion, and a deep belief in the power of art to connect, heal, and instigate positive social change.
For nearly twenty years, RedLine Contemporary Art Center has demonstrated what is possible when artists are empowered to create, connect, and lead.
Founded on the belief that art can be a catalyst for meaningful social change, RedLine has become one of Colorado’s most distinctive cultural institutions. At RedLine, artistic excellence and community impact are not separate goals, but inseparable commitments.
What began as a bold experiment has grown into a vital community asset: an artist incubator, contemporary art center, gathering place, and social practice organization serving artists and communities across Denver and beyond.
Together, we have:
-
Supported and launched more than 140 resident artists.
-
Engaged more than 12,000 students through arts education and outreach programs.
-
Provided resources, studio access, and creative opportunities for hundreds of artists experiencing housing insecurity or in recovery.
-
Regranted more than $30 million in relief funding, artist grants, and community initiatives across Colorado.
-
Created a trusted space where artists, neighbors, educators, civic leaders, and community organizations come together to build relationships, exchange ideas, and imagine new possibilities.
Join Us
As we cultivate this next chapter, we invite our community to help sustain RedLine’s work year-round through Canvas Keepers, our monthly giving program. Monthly gifts provide reliable support that allows us to invest in artists, expand access to arts education, and respond to community needs throughout the year. Whether it’s $10, $25, or $50 each month, your ongoing support helps ensure that RedLine continues to grow stronger with every season.
Save the Date: We’re also excited to offer you a first look at a bold new fundraising experience. On September 17, RedLine will debut RedLine Resident Remix: An Immersive Art Experience, reimagining our traditional gala as an interactive evening that places our Artist-in-Residence community at the center. Guests will engage directly with artists, experience immersive installations, and celebrate the creativity that makes RedLine unlike any other arts organization in Denver. |
Thank you for helping nurture RedLine through this season of transformation. Because of your support, new growth is taking root—and together, we are cultivating something that will continue to flourish for years to come.
With gratitude,
Robin Gallite Executive Director
P.S. I’d really love to hear from you—your ideas, questions, or what you’re excited about for RedLine’s future. Whether you’re an artist, neighbor, partner, or longtime supporter, please don’t hesitate to reach out and stay connected as we move into this next chapter together. |
